storm Xavier - update 12_oct_2017

storm Xavier - update 12_oct_2017 Dear customers, Situation on railway routes in northern Germany after wind storm Xavier that hit and damaged railway infrastructure in an important way last week it’s getting back to regular operation just very slowly and still today the railway operation isn’t without problems.

Some freight trains don’t still run in regular routes and after regular schedules, they get stopped on the way besides other things due to overcrowding of infrastructure in seaports and the delays cumulate and increase.
Additional trains dispatched by our company wait very long until there’s achieved allocation of capacity on railway routes; additional free slots in seaports for processing of these trains in addition to regular allocated capacities can just hardly be found.
We work intensively on improving of the situation however there still must be further counted with delays.
We would like to apologise for problems brought by adverse weather conditions.
Best regards
